Regardless of what airline you fly, or how you book your trip, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip.
- We suggest checking OAK first, for your best flight options. It’s the closest to the OMCC, and sometimes has less expensive flights than SFO. There is a short direct connection from the airport to the Coliseum BART station, and so on to the 12th Street station.
- SFO will offer a wider selection of flights from all over the world, and many nonstops from the East Coast. It is larger than OAK, with more amenities, and it will take about 45 minutes to reach the Oakland 12th Street station, as it goes through San Francisco.
- SJC is not directly connected to the BART system, but you can connect to BART by taking VTA Route 60 (Airport Flyer) to the Milpitas BART Station, and thus to the Oakland 12th Street station.
- All major car rental companies have counters at these three airports. We recommend renting using immediate airport locations only, if you plan to pick up a car when you arrive.
