GETTING TO THE CONVENTION VIA AIRPORTS USING BART
If you think you’ll require a wheelchair to meet you at the gate or baggage claim, to help you get to the shuttles or bus that takes you to BART, please make those arrangements with your airline before you travel.
OAKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

- The entrance to BART is between Terminals 1 and 2.
- Take the free AirBART shuttle from the terminal to the Coliseum Station, and enter BART there.
- From Coliseum Station, take the Orange Line (Richmond) train. It takes about 12 minutes to get to the 12th Street station.
- DO NOT TAKE THE DALY CITY OR MILLBRAE TRAIN, it will not take you to 12th Street Station.
- As of January 1, 2025, a one-way adult fare is $10.50.
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

- The BART station is located in the International Terminal, a short walk from Terminals 1 and 3.
- Board a Yellow Line (San Francisco/Antioch) train or a Red Line (San Francisco/Richmond) train to the 12th Street Station.
- DO NOT TAKE THE FREMONT/BERRYESSA/NORTH SAN JOSE TRAIN — it will not take you to the 12th Street station.
- As of January 1, 2026, a one-way adult fare is $12.20, and will take about 1 hour.
SAN JOSÉ MINETA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

- There is no direct BART service from SJC.
- You’ll need to take the VTA Route 60 Airport Flyer bus to the Milpitas BART Station.
- DO NOT TAKE THE DALY CITY TRAIN — it will take you in the wrong direction.
- The bus ride is free and connects you directly to the BART system. There are bus stops for the Flyer in both Terminal A and Terminal B. Ask airport uniformed staff and look for signs if you are not sure where this bus stop is located.
- Terminal A: VTA’s bus stop for the 60 is at the Stop 7 shelter at the Ground Transportation area in front of Terminal A.
- Terminal B: VTA’s bus stop for the 60 is at the Stop 5 shelter at the Ground Transportation area in front of Terminal B
- As of January 1, 2026, a one-way adult fare is $7.35.
IMPORTANT! If you get on the wrong BART train, don’t panic! It happens — but there is always an easy fix without exiting the platform, or having to pay a new fare.
- From SFO If you accidentally get on the Fremont/Berryessa/North San Jose train, get off the train at West Oakland and transfer to the Pittsburg/Antioch or Richmond train, and exit at Oakland 12th Street.
- From OAK If you accidentally get on the Daly City or Millbrae train from, disembark at Lake Merritt Station and board the Richmond line, and exit at Oakland 12th Street.
- From SJC If you accidentally board the Daly City train from San Jose/Milpitas, disembark at Lake Merritt, transfer to the Richmond line, and exit at Oakland 12th Street.
- If you need help, there are intercom phones on the platforms that reach the station agents.
